There is a new bi-weekly event series kicking off on Saturday, March 1 from  1pm to 3pm at Mary Anne's Place Sales Gallery & Grit Coffee - 50 Queens Street in Port Moody. This series is titled "Stories of Art and Sound", celebrating the craft and stories of local artists and musicians.

This first event will feature the musical trio  "The Lawless Firm", composed of Eleanor Dunn (vocals), Michael Dunn and Don Kellett (guitars). They will play a variety of music ranging from gypsy jazz instrumentals to swing standards and other genres of music in between. The group, which has performed at Port Moody's Gallery Bistro in the past, is thrilled to appear at this new venue so close to where the bistro used to be.
