The Smile Of Spring Concert - Saturday, May 17 at 2pm

Please join us to celebrate the Spring in Port Moody! “The Smile of Spring”, a classical music concert, offers once again a community-oriented program designed to delight, put a smile on your faces, a song in your heart, and a spring in your step. Join the co-artistic directors, the pianists Anna Levy and Jane Hayes with special guests - pianist Shirley Hwang, clarinetist Johanna Hauser, and saxophonist Julia Nolan in a program of Brahms, Schumann, Chopin and selections of Latin-inspired dance music and a medley of tunes from Leonard Bernstein's West-Side Story.

SATURDAY, MAY 17th, at 2 p.m., Old Orchard Hall 646 Bentley Rd, Port Moody.

Wild Blue Herons at The Herons Nest -

You will hear a flip side of the Wild Blue Herons’ song writing! A variety of genres…songs that are heartwarming; quirky; bluesy; swampy …maybe even a bit of Rock. Bill and Darlene will tell the stories behind the songs AND be premiering some of the songs they’ve written for the “Boomers” musical they have been working on - Hippie life then and now! They will have some surprise guest musicians with them that night.
